It鈥檚 a sad reality that women are traditionally underrepresented in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), making up just a third of the workforce in these careers. The good news is that schools like 蜜桃影像 (HCCC) are working to break down these barriers and elevate women in STEM fields through a variety of inspirational and instructional events and workshops.

The 蜜桃影像 (HCCC) Class of 2024 is comprised of many students who overcame adversity to earn their associate degrees, including homelessness, language barriers, and more. They take pride in the College and HCCC鈥檚 鈥淗udson is Home鈥� motto.

蜜桃影像 (HCCC) Class of 2024 Valedictorian Najwa Essaki is an immigrant and first-generation college student who made hard work, compassion, inclusion, and community advocacy the trademarks of her College journey. Najwa addressed her peers at the HCCC Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 16 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.

蜜桃影像 (HCCC), in partnership with New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), announced the second year of their Summer Training Institute at a press conference last week in the College鈥檚 Culinary Conference Center.

The explosive demand for Cybersecurity is outpacing the supply of computer science professionals who assess threats and prevent attacks. Educational institutions, healthcare organizations, government, businesses, and individuals are increasingly vulnerable to evolving hazards including phishing, spoofing, malware, ransomware, and viruses.

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) in partnership with the National Science Foundation (NSF) chose 蜜桃影像 students Camila Pazmino Izquierdo and Dillon Singh, and their faculty mentor Dr. Clive Li, as finalists in the Community College Innovation Challenge (CCIC).

蜜桃影像 (HCCC) will host the Class of 2024 and their family members and friends at the College鈥檚 47th Annual Commencement Ceremony. A record 1,532 students will graduate on Thursday, May 16 beginning at 10 a.m. at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the premier international community college honor society, presented 蜜桃影像 (HCCC) President Dr. Christopher Reber with the Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction at their annual convention last month in Orlando, Florida.

For the third year in a row, 蜜桃影像 (HCCC) has earned the 鈥淢ost Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges鈥� award from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

蜜桃影像 (HCCC) has welcomed Jamilah Moudiab as the College鈥檚 Inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Veteran Affairs and International Student Services.
