About the Gateway to Innovation Program

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Gateway to Innovation program is addressing the unprecedented systemic challenges to the workforce ecosystem exacerbated by the pandemic. This comprehensive program is focused on students and alumni, employers, and community members with the goal of providing basic support, skills training, experiential learning, and connection to employment. The program components are:

We are currently recruiting eligible students for the following programs:

  • Data Analytics
  • Google IT Support Specialist
  • HRCI Human Resources Associate
  • Intuit Bookkeeping
  • Meta Social Media Marketing

Meet the requirements to be eligible for the GTI Grant-funded Scholarship:

  • Hudson County Residents Only (proof of address)
  • 18 years or older
  • Photo ID (ex. State ID, Passport, Naturalization Citizenship Certificate, Green Card)
  • Valid Social Security Card
  • *Proof of low-income requirement: (ex. public assistance, benefits and/or services, Medicaid, EBT, other) (*if applicable)
  • Highest Educational Background (ex. HS Diploma, GED, associate's degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree and etc.)
  • Resume up to date
  • *ESL Exam (*if applicable)
  • 45-min Interview with GTI Staff

Learn and earn your certification with a flexible schedule:

  • Hybrid
  • Self-taught and Self-pace (with deadlines)
  • Monday – Friday from 9 A.M. – 2 P.M.
  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are remote.
  • Tuesdays and Fridays are on campus in the assigned computer lab.
  • HCCC JSQ Campus

Students will gain essential financial literacy skills:

Money Mentorship partnership with M&T Bank will provide students with financial literacy skills including Banking Basics, Budgeting, Home Ownership, and Credit Scores.
