The work of a navigator varies based on the organization and specialty areas of employer. Navigators assist clients with the complicated process of accessing and using medical systems. This is a “stackable” certificate; all courses nest directly into the AS Public Health Option to Health Services degree program. This proficiency certificate can act as an “off-ramp” for a pre-RN majors, allowing students to an “on-ramp” upon completion as a better prepared pre-RN major.
